Wednesday Weigh In: Week 4

I gained 0.8 lbs this week.... that's not alot to most people but when your trying to lose it instead of gain, THAT'S A LOT!!! The thing that pisses me off  is that I worked out 5 days last week. 3 days of deathly cardio and 2 days of strength training. I only did it because of all the times I cheated *in my bff April's voice* in the past week. I don't call it cheating tho... I was just practicing on how I was gonna maintain when I stop doing the B-12 in the future.  This week I'm only going to give myself ONE day to eat something out of the normal diet.  And that will probably be some liquor at my step moms bday party lol... Well this is a new week and all I've had today was some low fat tuna salad on some tomatoe slices... Idk what I'm eating for dinner but the way I feel right now I doubt I even eat dinner. I'm too through with food right now smh

Monday

Idk how much I weigh as of today but I refuse to touch the scale until Wednesday morning.  I'm really not in the mood for breakfast today.  For lunch I brought tuna salad made with Greek yogurt, saltine crackers and an apple.  I have a quiz in class tonight on what seems like 50 f'n chapters so that's probably why my appetite is shot to hell right now.  I was able to read the chapters but I'm not very confident that I retained all the information.  Today my goal is to get my assignment at work done and review my chapter readings until class tonight.  No time to think about food when my glass life is on the edge of the kitchen counter.

Weekend Treats

This weekend I went to a wedding and I must say my dress looked great on me. I'm only 3 and a half weeks into this lifestyle change and I'm already seeing results. I love it!  Knowing that I was gonna have A LOT of wine at the wedding I worked out that morning and only had a go-gurt for breakfast. For lunch I had a salad with fat free dressing.  I watched my portions at the reception and drank a diet coke with my meal.  I'm pretty sure the wine (I lost count how many glasses I had lol) definitely used up rest of my points. 

Saturday I was soooooooo tempted to eat Chinese food but I knew I couldn't do it because of my wine plans so I just saved that meal for my Sunday treat.  I know this wasn't very smart but that was my only meal on Sunday. I got up and worked out and then skipped breakfast because I was busy taking care of my LO and doing laundry. I ate half of the Chinese for lunch and half for dinner.  I washed it all down with a Diet Dr. Pepper (the best diet soda EVER). Idk how many points it was but it was sooooooo good and worth it.

Wednesday Weigh in - Week 3

This morning when I got on my scale at home it said 180 but when I got to the Dr's office theirs said 181 so I guess I'll go with that one.  That's a 3 lb difference from last week.  I was pleasantly surprised b/c I didn't work out last week AT ALL... I did help my boyfriend load our entire apartment into a uhaul truck.  That includes all boxes that wouldn't break my back, a huge sectional, and couple of large kitchen appliances, and a king sized bed.  I guess that along with running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to pack and unpack all week could count as a workout.  I stuck with my diet for the most part. I did really well with my points. I call it cheating but I used my extra "treat yourself" points this week and ate some Zaxbys and pizza and wings Saturday and Sunday morning. The days that I ate the bad stuff I didn't eat anything worth points for the rest of the day so that's probably what helped me continue the loss.  I'm so over these appetite suppressant shits though. I think I wanna just get the b-12 and lipo shots and not take the suppressants for a week and see how I do. I'll think on it for a while...

Getting MJ on the move

Being a mom is NOT easy... There's no textbook for raising a baby and thank God there isn't because I probably wouldn't read it. I already hate reading my textbooks for school!  My son is slightly physically behind other babies his age.  Most people would say he's being a lazy boy but this is my first baby and that doesnt keep me from worrying.  His pedi referred him to a program so we met with them today and they are going to work with getting him to crawl, use his hands more, and all in all catch up with the other babies that are 9 months.  He's far from having any mental problems. He's right on target with other babies mentally and he's very social. I would just like to be reassured that he's not gonna get left behind while most babies are mobile right now.  I'll probably regret being so anxious to get him mobile once he starts getting into everything but so what! I guess its a control thing. I like to have shit in order and constantly progressing, especially when it concerns my baby.  Lets just add these weekly developmental visits to the other tasks on my mommy to do list... I dont call myself SuperMILF for nothing

These appetite suppressant pills are a terrible thing.  Of course I'm moving to a new apartment on top of the gazillion other things that I have going on in my life.  For the past 2 days I've been packing and organizing and somewhere in there I forgot to eat dinner both nights! I am greedy and I don't play about my food so for me to not even think twice about dinner is unheard of.  I say the pills are terrible because I KNOW that when I stop taking them I will never forget to eat dinner 2 days in a row. No matter what I'm doing. I do plan on getting my eating habits back together next week once I'm settled though.  I'm not gonna stress it right now because I'm not working out this week so it kinds of evens out. I'm so focused on keeping my school life and home life together while getting this move out the way that I don't have time to do anything else.

This is my schedule:
Work 8 am - 5 pm;
Pick up son from daycare to take him home to his dad;
Be to class by 5:30 pm;
Get out of class between 7:30 to 8 pm;
Go home and feed, bath, clothe; play with LO and put to bed by 9 or 10 pm. 
After doing all that I have whatever is left over to get some packing done and get myself ready to do it again tomorrow...

Tonight I don't have class so I should be able to get more done and put the finishing touches on this packing

Week 2: 195 to 184!!!

Soooooo I probably should have started doing this on the first day of my journey but whatever.  I am currently in week 2 of my diet that started on 1/3/2012.  I weighed in at a plump and almost sexy 195 lbs.  I have since been doing my B-12, Lipo, and Phendi, along with WW and exercise and I weighed in on Wednesday this week at 184 lbs.  I believe most of it is water weight because I've been pissing like a race horse but I dont really care what it is right now.  I just lost more weight in a week than I lost in 4 damn months! Whoo hoo! I was told not to be surprised if I dont lose much this week and I'm not expecting too. I'm moving this weekend and I dont really have time to work out.  Hopefully lifting all this heavy shit in the heat will be somewhat of an exercise.  I'm soooooooo excited to move into my new place!!!  I guess I'll start weighing in on Wednesdays since that's the day I go in for my shots.  My short term goal is to be 180 or less by the end of the month and I have more than enough time to get there. I can do this! I'll be back next week with a smaller number... Hopefully :-/
